I saw Randy fall down onstage. For the life of me I can't remember where it was. He was at the far left side of the stage, singing while reaching down to shake hands. He reached towards a girl holding her hand out to him and she grabbed his arm and pulled him towards her so hard that he fell flat on the stage. He just hopped right up and went on singing.

Afterwards, she walked past us as she was returning to her seat and I heard her laughing and saying how she pulled him so she could get a kiss. I could have just slapped her!

I guess that's better than what happened to Tim McGraw! lol

On second thought, maybe not, she could have really hurt him.

That's what I thought at the time Ronda. With his back problems she could have done some serious damage.

I read somewhere one time he tripped on some equiment as he was leaving the stage, he came back on stage laughing and said "I meant to do a split but these boots aren't broken in yet!"

Linda, that's funny. Randy seems to turn even his mistakes into something we enjoy. The audience always loves it when he forgets or flubs the words. I've heard him remark on it and it doesn't seem to faze him a bit.

That's true, he messed up a song when I saw him in concert (I can't remember which song it was) but when he finished he said "that's not the song I thougt I'd mess up on". The time I saw him Loretta Lynn was on before him and he said that he was back stage laughing the whole time because she was so funny and he blamed her for the reason he messed up his song, he said "I was thinking about something she said earlier".

That girl really could have hurt Randy. Security should have taken her away.

He really seems to feel close to those old time entertainers such as Loretta and Tammy. We saw him in concert the day after he gave the eulogy at Roy Rogers funeral. I handed him a note during the show asking him to sing a particular song, I don't know what it was, but I kicked myself later thinking I should have asked him to sing Happy Trails Again instead.

He started to sing a song one time at a concert and Lance just stood there with an astounded look on his face and Randy laughed and everything came to a halt. I think Randy had been singing an entirely different song than what was scheduled.
